Nokia Themes LOVE

Posted by Ltypeslove at 08:03 AM on May 8, 2008 in Eye-Candy, ArtPortfolios.

Hehe, I haven't done any homeworks

and it's almost 12 am. BAD BAD BAD!
But in the better point of view, I get to customize my N95.
I heard about the Nokia Theme Studio thingy majigy that my friend told me.
[Flashblack; were actually in YM talking about Nokia, since were both originally from PI & Nokia is like POPULAR there unlike in US and Canada]

Then I got curious. Got frustrated because my PC kept on hanging.
Went to the laptop.
Got more frustrated, rather devastated since it kept on being GAY on me (like forgot to edit this that blabla)

Then became happy and finished it with 3 hours of hardwork!

It's a kid with headphones on, with his or her head covered with a blanket. AWESOMENESSS. took me forever to edit ever piece of detail, from the wallpaper, to every single piece of buttons, spaces, dividers, and color theme!

Student's Complaint

Posted by Ltypeslove at 03:21 AM on May 7, 2008 in Student life.

According to the American Sleep Disorders Association, the average teenager needs around 9.5 hours of sleep per night, possibly because hormones that are critical to growth and sexual maturation are released mostly during slumber. Yet studies show that teenagers generally get an average of only 7.4 hours a night. This is far short of the desired quota for healthy teens.

Researchers at Stanford University found in a study that teenagers require more sleep, by 1 to 2 hours, than do their younger 9- and 10-year-old siblings, who only require about 8 hours of sleep. This contradicts parents, since we tend to give later bed times and curfews to our children as they get older.

Now, Now. As a student, I state reasons why a teenager like me barely even reach that quota of 9.5 hours sleep.

A student that takes MOSTLY APs (college level) and Honor level classes doesn't have the time to sleep. Out of all people I know, that are currently in those classes obtain an average of one to four hours of sleep.

When a paper is due for AP English, or simple Poetry Journals, most students I've known, including me BARELY sleep at all. Three, two, or an hour of sleep; sometimes taking an All-nighter for a day or two just to finish unfairly long work.

I will emphasize students who you've known are taking either Pre-Calculus Honors or AP Calculus in their Junior or Senior Year. Having four to five hour estimation of homework every single day pretty much use up student's time to do other homeworks. On the other hand, students like me could just sleep to obtain the average '7.4' hours and slack off other subjects, or not even bother answering the first question of the Math book. HENCE, due to student's guilt and fear of failing, we could just NOT sleep and finish most of it til' 4 am and (NOTE) not even 100% done, could be repolished at passing periods in school time.

Teenagers without a car, needs to wake up at least an hour earlier than the usual time most students do. Well in my scenario, I wake up at 7 am when my parents are able to drop me off to school; 6 am if I needed to walk.

Plus, CMON people. Students, ahem like me have a life too. Aside from being a nerd Mondays thru Thursdays. I slack off Fridays and go out til' whenever (HAHAHA AN EXCUSE for not sleeping early =P)

Television is not to blame for teens to sleep late. Let's think of it like this: It's more of like the idea of achieving "self" time only! The only way we get to connect and breath is thru television.

The internet could be blamed in a way, since it is addictive. But think about it, men are to blame for inventing such an invention for us teens to watch youtube movies, download mp3s, images and suchs... and blogging. lol

Now don't you guys feel, that in some point in life, you've wanted to become an animal who could sleep whenever, wherever they want? HAH

April Updates

Posted by Ltypeslove at 01:25 AM on April 24, 2008 in Eye-Candy, Student life, ArtPortfolios.

Hi tabulas, I haven't been here in a while.
I've been busy this month like crazy.
I'll post on what has happened to me in this month of April (well from what I think was exciting)

April 17 08
Chalk Art !
Students at my school decorated granite floors with artistic classical paintings done by various artists! This is for the Open House (2nd Semester) and of course, me being an 'artist' joined. My team consisted of me and Heather. We're partners since last year (view last year's), but last year we did not won. This year was way better than last years. Aside from the weather contrast, we actually finished it without second doubts on whether its good or not. The weather wasn't as hot as last years and overall it's fun! :)

Our portrait was La Dormeuse by Tamara de Lempicka (I picked this!)

These pictures below are random pieces I liked out of 50 artworks:

And guess what!?

Oh Farsure. FIRST PLACE ! Second and Third Place's pictures are the first two random pieces.

Precal Portfolio
Damn who would have thought that any student will be able to type a 25-35 paged essay/portfolio with a bunch of typed written mathematical equations? Well guess what, that's what I suffered from :( Plus I finished typing at 3am, yet 11 pages of it got deleted since my computer crashed so I retyped it 3am til' 7am and did not sleep >.<

I bought an N95 Nokia cellphone. It will be delivered here in 2 to 3 days from now(:
